We
have recently spent a large sum of money to independently
test the bacteria killing effectiveness of of the main Colloidal
Silver brands on sale in New Zealand.
Colloidal
Silver
testing results
To do
this, we took our
Health House Colloidal Silver
(manufactured for us by Ephraim Health). Also
the following
brands: NZ Pure, Skybright, and Silver Solution. And sent them
off for a range of independent scientific tests.
Test one:
PPM Readings
Our own factory,
Tauranga
We
used our PPM (parts per million) testing equipment to obtain PPM
readings. Skybright and
Health House Colloidal Silver both
tested higher than was claimed.
NZ Pure was less, and Silver
Solution read the maximum of 99. This indicated that there was
something foreign in the Silver Solution. This was confirmed in
later testing.
Test
two:
Dissolved (Ionic) Silver and Whole Silver concentration

They
tested for Dissolved Silver
and Whole Silver. (You can see
explanation

Silver' in David’s editorial below.)
The first figure is Dissolved Silver, and the
second Whole Silver
Skybright had 14.2 g/m3 and
11.9 g/m3.
Silver Solution had 16 g/m3 and
16 g/m3.
Health House had 18.9 g/m3 and
17.2 g/m3.
NZ
Pure had 25.5 g/m3 and
21.3 g/m3

Test
three: Testing
the effectiveness
of killing bacteria
(Staphylococcus aureus)
NZ Labs, Auckland.
(Zero,
24 and 48 hour testing.)
This
was the most interesting test.
All the Colloidal Silvers
killed
the bacteria within 24 hours. And 48 hours later, the bacteria
had not reappeared. This is a great result and proves that
Colloidal Silver kills bacteria (staph).
However Skybright showed a small increase in
bacteria
level, before eventually killing all the bacteria.
Health House Colloidal Silver
actually showed an initial
instant
decrease in bacteria level.
This was a great result. But as we initially only tested at
Zero, 24 and 48 hours, it did not conclusively answer our
question as to which was the best.

Test
four: Transmission Electron Microscope photos and measurements
of particle size
A
major New Zealand University.

We
then had photos taken using an Electron
Microscope and the number
of silver particles were measured and counted.
Two
of the silvers showed unidentified particles
that were not
silver. Due to this we decided to exclude these two from our

Final
Head
to
Head Testing
Both
NZ Pure and Health House Colloidal Silver
showed a good spread of optimum
sized particles in the
Electron Microscope photos. So we decided
to send them off for a final head-to-head test.
This
was the same as
Test
three,
but a reading was done
every hour, so we could find out how
quickly they killed the bacteria.

results were highly interesting -

Health House Colloidal
Silver
was the only Colloidal Silver among all those tested, to
immediately kill almost all of the bacteria. Within the hour all
bacteria was killed.

Gold coloured Colloidal Silver
tested the best
Editorial by David Coory, author of the nutrition book
"Stay Healthy by Supplying What's Lacking in Your Diet"
and Director and founder of Zealand Publishing House
(also trading as 'Health House').
We have finally disproved the
common claim that clear Colloidal Silver is better than golden
coloured
Colloidal
Silver. The double strength Ephraim Health manufactured
Colloidal Silver that we presently sell under our Health House
brand, was the only golden hued Colloidal Silver among all those
tested and came out on top. All of the others were clear.
I have long believed gold
coloured Colloidal Silver to be the best. Clear Colloidal Silver
has never seemed to work well for me. Francis Key, founder of
the New Jersey, Colloidal
Science
Laboratory and probably the most experienced Colloidal Silver
scientist in the world, has long maintained that a gold colour
is a sign of intact stable Whole Silver particles in the water
(rather than invisible and unstable Dissolved or Ionic
particles).
These stable Whole Particles
remain intact inside the body in the blood stream and do their
useful work.
Provided however they are
finely dispersed and not clumped together (as in dark brown
Colloidal Silver). We had the Colloidal Silvers photographed
with an electron microscope to check out this aspect.
Evidently unstable Ionic
silver particles work fine outside the body, but when they come
into contact with hydrochloric acid in the stomach and the blood
stream, they become
converted to
Silver Chloride and there is serious doubt as to whether the
body can still use them.
The double strength Colloidal
Silver made with our domestic Health House generator is also
gold in colour. We did not test this silver, but it appears to
me to work equally as well as our manufactured Colloidal Silver
when made correctly.
