The herbal ingredients in Relax

Valerian root  This herb is renown for it's calming and relaxing effects on the body. For most people it promotes sleep when taken before bed.

Valerian is often used to relieve nervous conditions which can cause cold hands and feet.

It is also used to reduce pain and can normalise heart palpitations and act as a tonic for the circulatory system.

Hops Hops are known to have mild sedative properties and are believed to complement and enhance the effects of Valerian root.

Kava root extract  Despite its perhaps less than ideal image in New Zealand, the natural herb Kava is regarded among Herbalists as the most effective relaxing and stress relieving herb in all nature. It is used widely overseas.

Kava has gentle sedative properties, which unlike normal sedatives, do not cloud mental alertness.

Kava is also useful for relieving tension headaches, reducing pain, lifting the spirits, improving sleep and soothing restless legs.

Magnesium – the relaxing mineral

This vital mineral Magnesium is a natural  muscle, artery and brain relaxant. Magnesium works to keep muscles properly relaxed. It promotes sound sleep and can prevent tremors and leg cramps.
