"Everybody can beat cancer ..."

Healthy, vigorous 100 year old Australian farmer Percy Weston wrote this book "Cancer: Cause and Cure" at age 97. In the closing years of his life he wanted to share the great health truths he had discovered.

He died peacefully in his sleep in his 101st year without any sign of cancer, arthritis or artery disease. Yet in his late 30’s he had serious cancer and was bedridden with arthritis.

Percy writes in the introduction to his book "Everybody can beat cancer without expensive drugs, hospitalisation and doctors, just as I have."

He also writes, "If I may offer myself as an example, old age need not make senile old cripples out of us."

Cancer in Percy’s sheep

As a young man in the 1930’s, Percy bought a sheep farm, and began to apply the newly developed superphosphate chemical fertiliser to his paddocks. This fertiliser is high in phosphorus and very acid.

He writes, "The result was certainly lusher growth, but along with it came a plague of worms in the sheep. At the end of five years we had a plague of cancer lesions coming up on the ears of the sheep."

"I made a major discovery"

About this same time, Percy was using super-phosphate on his home vegetable garden. He was only 31, but he was feeling drained of energy and strength. Medical treatment only seemed to make him worse.

Then he read a medical book that listed the mineral content of foods.

 He realised he had been living on foods that were naturally high in phosphorus, and grown in soil heavily fertilised with super-phosphate.

So he immediately changed his diet to low phosphorus foods. His energy and strength soon returned.

He wrote, "My usual vigour returned. I was confident also of having made a major discovery."

Cancer in Percy's sheep

Percy eventually bought his own sheep farm, and like other farmers he began to apply super-phosphate to his paddocks.

He writes, "The result was certainly lusher growth, but along with it came a plague of worms in the sheep. At the end of five years we had a plague of cancer lesions coming up on the ears of the sheep. It is the same condition that afflicts humans, and has the same cause."

Experiments on the farm

He then began to experiment. He fertilised a few selected paddocks with heavy applications of superphosphate and waited to see what would happen to the sheep grazing in those paddocks.

It wasn’t long before sick sheep showed that things were going terribly wrong. Cancer (mostly on the ears), arthritis in the leg joints, kidney problems, low lambing percentages, and infections were widespread.

Soil drained of minerals

A soil analysis found that his farm soils were very acid, and virtually drained of calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, cobalt, and several other minerals needed for animal and human health.

This had resulted in phosphorus, an essential trace element in both animals and humans, becoming a poison due to excess. (Phosphorus alone is still used as a rabbit poison.) Here at last was cause and effect.

(Super-phosphate is manufactured using sulphuric acid and has an acid pH of less than 2.0.)

Percy develops his famous mineral powder

Percy then experimented with salt licks containing different minerals in powder form, to eliminate excess phosphorus from his sheep, and to replace lacking minerals.

Percy’s sheep now immune to disease

Finally Percy got the balance right.

He writes, "An era of trouble-free farming began. Fleeces were 20% heavier. I had not a single case of cancer among 600 ewes. It was no longer necessary to vaccinate, and our sheep have very few problems with worms."

He later used non-acid, rock phosphate fertilser on his pastures.

Percy cures his own cancer and arthritis

However Percy’s own health was deteriorating. In 1942 at age 39 he came down with severe arthritis of the shoulders. For days at a time he was confined to bed with excruciating pain.

Even worse, he had a weeping lump in his left hand which was confirmed as malignant cancer. His doctor told him that if radium treatment didn’t work, amputation of his hand was the next step.

This was a turning point in Percy’s life. As he had done with his sheep, he began to experiment week after week with the mineral powder mix in his own diet.

First came relief from the torture of arthritis. Then the cancer lump in his hand shrank and became loose under his skin. Percy cut it out and kept it to show his doctor.

Percy’s health becomes excellent

Percy’s health now became excellent. He writes, "I enjoyed a feeling of wellbeing that I had never known before in my life."

Percy twice heals cancer in his wife

After healing his own arthritis and cancer, Percy was able to heal cancer in his wife Bonnie. In 1950, a tennis ball-sized lump in her stomach was diagnosed as uterine cancer. Her doctors wanted to do an immediate hysterectomy.

This frightened Bonnie into action. For the first time she began taking Percy’s mineral powder mix. The lump went down after four months, but another bulge began to form. This time it turned out she was pregnant. After years of barrenness a healthy 9 lb boy was born.

Bonnie did not continue with the mineral powder. After a second child was born she felt lump the size of a marble in her left breast. A medical biopsy confirmed it was cancer. Doctors advised a mastectomy.

Bonnie immediately began taking the powder again. During the next four months the lump steadily shrank away, without any pain or soreness. No cancer ever returned again.

Miracles of recovery from serious illness

Percy tried to interest the medical profession in his findings but could not get anyone to listen. However, over the years, Percy saw miracle after miracle of recovery from serious illness by those who took the time to come out to his remote farm in Victoria, Australia to obtain his mineral powder mix.

His powder contained Magnesium, Potassium, Iron, Zinc, Manganese, Cobalt, Sodium and Sulphur. Percy writes of modern foods, "Iron, Manganese, Copper, Zinc, Cobalt, Selenium, Chromium and Boron are now depleted or missing."
