Buy 7-Day Iron

This new product 7-Day Iron is becoming increasingly more popular as our customers see real improvements in the iron levels of their blood. And without any constipation.

Iron-containing red blood cells carry energy-giving oxygen to every part of our body. Yet Iron-deficiency is the world’s most common nutritional disorder. 25% of the world’s population is iron-deficient. This is a major cause of low energy.

Our CAA capsules have 5 mg of chelated Iron, but this is not enough for many people.

The recommended daily intake of Iron for most adults, both male and female, is 8 mg and children 10 mg. But for teenage girls it is 15 mg, and for pregnant women 27 mg. Athletes also need much more than normal, and Iron is not as well absorbed as we grow older.

We introduced 7-Day Iron during 2007 to overcome this deficiency. This high quality, chelated iron in a small capsule, gives you a net 35 mg of energy-producing Iron, plus 60 mg of Vitamin C to boost absorption up to 300%.

Only needs to be taken one day a week

For most people 7-Day Iron only needs to be taken one day a week. This should provide you an extra 5 mg a day, over the full week, as the body stores surplus Iron in the blood and liver if we are deficient.

With the 5 mg in CAA, this should give you a total of 10 mg extra a day, plus what you get in your food.

Taking it only once (or maybe twice) a week also prevents any risk of constipation, plus it saves you money. You get six months supply, 25 capsules in one bottle, for less than $5 a month.

Iron essential for strong bones

Due to world-wide concern as to why so many young people break bones so easily, an important experiment was done in 2002 by the Dept of Human Nutrition, Kansas State University.

Rats, which are similar to humans in bone nutrition,
were fed a diet very low in iron and in calcium.

After 5 weeks (equivalent to 5 human years) the results were alarming. The rat’s bones lost 90% of their strength, compared to the control rats, and snapped very easily. This bar graph is taken from their report.

It would appear that this is what is also happening in humans of all ages. For currently, iron and calcium are the two most common mineral deficiencies today. However, 7-Day Iron and Coral C should ensure that you and your family members have life-long strong, flexible bones.

What is chelated Iron?

Chelated iron is iron pre-combined with a natural digestive amino acid, to make it easy for the body to digest, like the iron in meat.

Chelated iron is 10 to 15 times more bio-available than pharmaceutical iron supplements such as iron sulphate.

Can I overdose on 7-Day Iron?

No, 7-Day Iron has only 35 mg of iron. Iron overdose starts at 1100 mg a day for children, and 2100 mg for adults. However 2% of New Zealanders do have a gene disorder known as hemochromatosis which prevents surplus iron being expelled.

The best time to take 7-Day Iron

For best absorption, take 7-Day Iron between main meals, and not within 1Ό hours of a Calcium supplement or tea and coffee.
